Soul: Seclusion with Yourself

Upon first glance at this photo, try to say what is pictured here, and you will be surprised at the answer - water. Rather, this illustrates the surface of the river. Icelandic glacial rivers are famous for their bizarre designs and colors, which can only be seen from above. Where does such an unearthly picture come from? The fact is that rivers on the way from glaciers to the ocean take with them particles of lava, various rocks, and chemical elements, which determines the appearance of each of them. The appearance also changes depending on the temperature, weather and time of year. For that reason, every photo of the Icelandic river, and I have collected many of them over the course of 12 trips to this country, is doubly unique. This photo was taken in the southern part of the island from a Cessna plane.
