Paradise

Grand prismatic spring is the largest geothermal lake in the United States, with a diameter of 91 meters and the capacity to evaporate about 2,000 liters of water per minute. The lake is located in the iconic Yellowstone National Park. The bright colors around the edges are the result of the vital activity of pigmented bacteria. The water in the center is sterile due to its high temperature (about 90 degrees Celsius), and its color arises from the scattering of the blue rays of daylight by water molecules. Flights over the park are allowed only at a certain altitude, not lower than 600 meters, and only a few local flying clubs even have permission to fly there. A telephoto lens was used for this shot from a Cessna plane. There are not many conditions to get into heaven, agree?
