Firmness of Spirit: Confidence in Acting on Your Own Path

This photo was taken at sunset in Monument Valley from a motorized hang-glider. The valley is located on the border of the states of Arizona and Utah and is one of America's most famous landmarks. It comprises plains overlooked by red sandstone cliffs. It is less susceptible to weathering and wear, though these rocks are 200 million years old! The valley resides on the reservation of the Native American people - the Navajo Indian tribe, which, in fact, it belongs to. It was not for nothing that Alexander saw the firmness of spirit in this photo: both the rocks and locals saw a lot on their way and managed to preserve their identity.
